In collaboration with the Mental Health Association of Columbia-Greene Counties and the Hudson City School District, the Greater Hudson Promise Neighborhood created Hudson's first AmeriCorps program.  The impact of the AmeriCorps investment in the Hudson community is expansive, with 53 members currently active within the school district.

AmeriCorps members are engaged in various sites and settings, including Greater Hudson Promise Neighborhood, Montgomery C. Smith Intermediate School,  the Hudson Youth Department and Senior Center,  the Harmony Project, and more .
