Collaborative Initiatives

The collaborative initiatives that the Greater Hudson Promise Neighborhood is involved in focus on addressing intergenerational family and community poverty by ensuring quality educational opportunities and providing a range of supports for everyone in the Hudson City School District.  These collaborations help to ensure that all children and youth have access to great systems and strong systems of support to prepare them for educational success and to be college and career ready.
  • Hudson Community Schools
    • HCS is an Initiative aiming to bring unity to schools, families, and the community within the Hudson City School District.
  • 4-H Clubs
    • In collaboration with the Cornell Cooperative Extension, the Youth and Families of Promise program offers a 3-pronged approach to mentoring which includes; 4-H Clubs, group mentoring activities and Family Night Out activities.
  • Mentoring
    • We are involved with two mentoring programs, which each provide our children with older mentors, who spend approximately 6-10 hours a week with the children. The county mentoring consists of one-on-one mentors, with one child and one mentor.
