The TeamTam After-School Program is an after school program that provides academic, social and emotional support to students in the Hudson City School District, from Kindergarten through their senior year of high school. The TeamTam After-School Program employs a strengths-based philosophy and works with students on an individual basis to help manage assignments and set achievable goals for themselves. Positive rewards systems are utilized to motivate students work towards higher standards. On average, Promise After School serves 20 children and adolescents from the Hudson City School District per day.

Operating on a drop-in basis, students are welcome Monday through Friday from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM. At GHPN, students have access to a computer lab and laptop computers and Chromebooks to ensure that they have the necessary materials to conduct research and complete assignments.

In addition to tutoring and homework assistance from Hudson Promise Corps volunteers and GHPN staff, students also receive a hot meal each day. After school assignments are completed, various age appropriate activities are available. Children who enroll in TeamTam After-School are also eligible for a number of free trips and programs through our partnerships. In the past, we have enrolled students in 4-H clubs, the Harmony Project, Hudson Sloop Club, the Community Garden with Kite's Nest, Kids Can Cook with Hawthorne Valley Farm, and many more. We also take frequent field trips to the Hudson Area Library and local parks. The program seeks to provide children with as many enriching opportunities as possible, year round.

Formerly known as Promise After-School, the program was renamed in September of 2021 in honor of our late family advocate, Tamarah Jones.
